It is time to discover the main attractions! What makes Interlaken 'the spot' to visit? Everything. Let's begin with the 'high'light of the region (pun intended).
Jungfrau - 4,158 m (13,642 ft)
You can get access to view Jungfrau by taking the Jungfrau Line from Interlaken to Jungfraujoch, the saddle connecting Jungfrau and Monch. The Jungfrau line is a railway that runs partly undergound and passes by some of the most breathtaking and scenic views in Switzerland. Once you arrive at Jungfraujoch you can visit the Sphinx Observatory which is one of the highest astronomical observatories in the world. At the 'Top of Europe' building you will also find restaurants, shops, exhibitions, and more.
Paragliding - Paragliding Interlaken
If you are not afraid of heights, we highlight recommend paragliding and taking in one of the most spectacular views you will ever see. Paragliding Interlaken is one of the leading experts in the region in tandem paragliding flights. For an extra fee you can even get a video of your flight (which we highly recommend).
River Rafting the Lutschine
You can also raft the Lutschine through Paragliding Interlaken. Straight from the start below the Eiger North Face, continuous class III-IV rapids surge down from the mountains into the Interlaken valley and Lake of Brienz. If you get lucky, during someone the calmer sections, the guides will let you jump out of the boat and float next to your raft.
